A. Warren Duryea, a local Certified Public Accountant since 1974, has had an active interest in ocean activities his entire life. Initially moving to Hawaii from San Diego to bodysurf, he had enjoyed Hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, surfski racing and open ocean swimming and racing. He was one of the founding members of Kailua Masters Swim Club and is an active member of Waikiki Swim Club, having served as its treasurer for 5 years.
Mr. Duryea has been active in community service for many years. He has served as President of the Bishop Street Club and as the Hawaii District representative to the National Exchange Club, a service organization whose primary project is the prevention of child abuse.
A graduate of San Diego State University, Mr. Duryea worked with a national CPA firm in San Diego before transferring to the Honolulu office. He is currently the President of Duryea & Associates CPAs, Inc. in Honolulu.
